I just swapped out my 14b for a gt28rs and have a bad oil leak as soon as i fire it up. Its hard to tell where it is coming from because as soon as the car starts, oil just starts pouring all over the turbo. It appears as if its coming from the oil feed line, chra, or oil return line. I replaced the copper washer on the stainless oil feed line, and the banjo bolt is not stripped out at all. I also replaced the return line with an aftermarket one. The only thing that im thinking is that there was not a gasket on the connection between the oil return line and the turbo, but it appears that oil is coming off the chra, where as the return line is on the very bottom of the turbo. If you guys could give me some ideas, i would really appreciate it. I could take pictures if that would help, but pretty much what you would see would be an oil covered bottom of a turbo. Thanks everybody.

There should be a crush washer on each side..And if there not large enough, you just may need to adjust the washer..But two crush washer is how its supposed to be put together..One on each side just to clarify..

Plus there should absolutely be a gasket between the turbo and oil return tube. No matter how tight a hard metal on hard metal conection is, it will still leak.

Thank you guys for your help. I was able to locate a return line gasket, and got another washer for the feed line, and we are leak free. Now im just letting the car run, and there is a lot of white smoke coming off the exhaust manifold/turbo/downpipe area, which im hoping is just that leaked oil burning up. Thank you guys for your help, and hopefully i wont run into any more problems.

You just swapped a turbo, so oil on your hands and tools get on the exhaust pieces, and burn off on start up. No worries there.

Thats what im thinking, or maybe it could be the water lines leaking on the turbo. Im letting it run for a little bit, and if it continues smoking, then i'll check out the water lines tomorrow and put new crush washers on them.
