This is what I meant. Even if it looks just a little movement, it's already exceeded the limit for sure. Actually that's a lot, maybe you were already seeing the engine speed drop at idle when you press the clutch pedal.

Sorry about this but I recommend not to drive the car anymore and should rebuild the engine before the damage gets worse. If you would keep driving the car more, you would end up by killing the block too.
If I focused enough on a single spot, I could see mine move at .006 which is still within spec.
But yeah OP needs measurement tools
Then your eyesight is just good if you can see 0.1mm movement clearly or you are not doing that under the car. Things are different under the car or when it's on engine stand.

Under the car, when I did my end play measurements

Not going to lie, it took some pretty intense focus on one spot while having another nearby as reference.

Can also use a phone camera in slo-mo to review.

Yeah I can imagine that you focus to it a lot, because you are doing it in porpose. It is more likely you are feeling the movement rather than seeing. Because I am sure you were using a pry bar or screw driver and a dial indicator to check. You were not doing by hand and measuring by eyes while changing the oil like the op.

I don't know why you're arguing what I saw or am capable of seeing but ok. To explain unnecessarily, I have excellent visual acuity (not to mention colour accuracy) and 0.1mm is over twice the diameter of the average fine human hair. Witnessing something that moves that distance is entirely possible as long as you have a reference point, good lighting and contrast, and are able to keep your focal point and, importantly, your undivided attention locked on.

Also, it is entirely possible to move the crank via the clutch with the pan still on, don't forget. that does not shift the block.

OP needs measurements not visuals at any rate. Whether you believe me or not is besides the issue entirely.
