Oil leak in transmission

So from searching ive found that my leak could be the crankcase seal, but thats about it. My car leaks and it looks like it is coming from the transmission WTF ? Well, i have sat under my car while its on jacks and cant find anything. If its not my crankcase what do you think? Please dont tell me the valve cover though, i already checked it haha.

I remember i had that kind of nightmare. I took my tranny 6 or 7 times to trace the leak.Every time when i was taking off and putting on tranny ,the leak would come again and again.Then i took of my oilpan.Resealed with Grey Permatex sealant and the leak Disappeared.So i would check oil pan,before taking the tranny .

THanks guys, i had heard of the main seal maybe being the reason so now im going to bring it to the tranny shop that rebuilt my tranny in June. I have a year warranty so they can deal with it for an afternoon. Second, ill try the oil pan as well.

Rebuilding tranny,has nuttin to do with rear main seal.if your Input shaft's seal would be damaged,then yeaah.that has to go under the warranty.But,you just gonna waste the money,for letting the guys take off the tranny and put it back..... Just do it yourself.....

So after i looked at my car it seems to be leaking from the side of the transmission by the return oil drain. So would this most likely be that rear main? I pulled off the gaurd that looks into the tranny gears (for an auto) and the oil drips down from there....
