178.5 if everything is in perfect working order. Based on the commonly accepted 15% drivetrain loss on an AWD.

That does seem pretty close... give or take a few horses in reality plus astronomical effects LOL...



Bench racing time:
t25 with a punishment style intercooler setup, intake w/ hks filter and 17 psi(no other mods)... feels more pull on upper rpm's (say freeway driving) but lower pull/ no torque on lower rpm... so says my friends BUTT DYNO.
Anyone has facts to base this on... whp wise.

Is that a FMIC from Punishment? If so, the reason you might be experiencing low power at lower RPMs is the fact the T25 is kind of small to fill up all the piping and intercooler for spool up.
 
92 tsi AWD 6 bolt has Evo 9 piston 6 bolt big rods arp rod and head studs rebuilt head evo3 16g ets front mount 2.5 inch piping 650 fic injectors walbro 190 pump 3 inch turbo back exhaust apexi aft controller aem urgo wideband,
2G Maf. I was thinking of have it tuned at 340Hp.
 
i know im a newbie on this site but.....man, this must be some sort of bad joke!

how often do people ask these kinds of questions? they cant be serious at all. put on a whole bunch of stickers or random parts on a car and then assume total strangers will know the exact HP of said car just by looking at it?

judging from other comments, this must get REALLY annoying. almost makes you wanna punch yourself in the balls everytime people ask stupid questions!

Also, you can see what setups people are running. Look for one that is similiar to what you plan on building and see what they are making.
 
jw what u think i can be at power wise ant e/t i have a 96 7 bolt and its got short throw lowering springs lsd eagle rods cp pistons black case ecu 550cc injectors but had to go back to oem turbo for now if i can get a decent street tune what u think im looking at

I'm not a moderator, but proper grammar and punctuation would make it a lot easier to understand what you are trying to say.

Anyway, I'm not sure what turbo you are running. You say "OEM" with 550 injectors which makes me think you were running a 16g before. So my guess is since it would be easier to on would mean you are running a 14b since it would be a direct fit at that point, but you DID say OEM so do you mean a T25?

If you are running a 14b I'd say you could defiantly hit 13s with no problem. But with the T25 I've honestly never looked at them for any reason at all. I don't know what they can do so I can't comment.

Anyway, this is still bench racing which is not allowed, but still I'm sure we can all agree 13s on a low 14 second stock car isn't hard to achieve.

What are you using to compensate for your 550 injectors? A SAFC or do you have something like DSMlink V2 or ECMlink V3?

You also say you have a LSD and are lowered. The LSD makes it seem like you or someone else knew they were going to have problems hooking up, so my question is do you at least have a camber kit for your car? What kind of camber are you looking at? I'd go for as flat as camber on those front wheels as possible or you are going to spin quite a bit more than you need to be.

If you want to get serious about it, I'd go with ECMlink V3 if you don't have it already and set up a 2-step. You should also try to take advantage of turbo lag to reduce wheel spin.

Hard motor mounts are another MUST for going fast in FWD if you don't you can get some serious wheel hop.

I just got my 2jz gte powered fc rx7 running tonight, any guesstimates of how fast it will go down the track. Ya it's not a dsm but its still fun.

It has pretty light mods, jdm 2jz gte r154 5spd, fidanza aluminum flywheel spec stage 3+ clutch, fmic complete with dsm crushed bov, 3 inch turbo back exhaust, a/f wideband, boost gauge, pyro and fuel cut controller. Boost will be set at 15 psi on the stock twins for now.

I'm guessing low 13's high 12's.
 
Okay guys I just finished building a 97 awd talon, it has a

2.3 stroker 6 bolt swap, balance rotating assembly, complete with 1g head, intake and throttle body.
evo 3 16g,
fmic,
3inch turbo back exhaust,
mild port head,
no balance shafts,
fidanza aluminum flywheel
spec stage 2 clutch
255 lbs fuel pump
boost is at 17 psi, on a modded maf meter to eliminate fuel cut
stock e manifold and 02 housing for now, stock modded intake for now.
stock timing as far as I know, timing set to 5 degrees with cas mod.

A/F ratio at wot is 11.8 and ramps to 10.8 toward redline.


Give me some hp guesses, car may hit dyno in near future.
 
i want a full Bomex body kit and i want to paint my car F&F Green and some racing stickers

How much HP will i get per sticker? does the size of the sticker matter? will neon lights help too?

Put a Nitro-methane sticker on you fuel rail and you'll get 8x the amount of horses you already have:thumb:
 
just put a solid rocket booster on it and might break the sound barrier in the texas mile :)
 
So does anyone know how much power and boost my Greedy 18g turbo can make? I have 9.1 wiseco eagle rods and 272 BC cams... Just wondering if anyone has had this turbo before and how they liked it... Thanks:thumb:
