I have noticed that the cheap eBay gaskets get really hard within a year, and can leak.Valve cover gaskets are a no brainer. Ive been getting mine on Ebay for really cheap.
I have about two years on two of them without issues thus far. Ill have to keep an eye on that I guess.I have noticed that the cheap eBay gaskets get really hard within a year, and can leak.
If your valve cover is a "boost leak", you have greater problems than the VC gasket and it's torque value...If you torque it too hard you will crack your valve cover or strip sh**. If you don't torque it enough you will have a huge f***ing boost leak.
