Hey guys i got a felpro headset from oreilly and it looks pretty good. Now i have read many people say the felpro composite is junk and you cant run more than 15psi of boost. Then some say that they are great. I am using arp 207-4203 head studs on my build and i am looking for 20psi. Should i toss the felpro composite in the trash and just run the mitsu composite. Has anyone run a felpro composite with any sucess? Any info appreciated i am trying to have my engine back in next weekend and i need to know which way to go. Thanks

Ive run 2 felpro and got completely different results so its hard to say. Ive run 3 oem and havent had issues with any of them.

my o reailys HG Is holding just fine at 29 psi 35r let me put it to you like this ..... in my case i could not use a metal hg due to the deck surface not being perfet
I only had one choice the felpro composite HG

If you Clean your deck surface properly There vids on this
Blueprint 108 - inspect the deck - YouTube

I good set of headstuds is only going to make it soild I wod get a set of L19 or H11 from A1 technologies
but if your are on a budget A new set of arp standard will work

that's what I did and I never been happier with the L19

Under a great amount of pressure the felpro head gasket would hold a lot better with arp head studs. I had this setup on my previous 1g and i was able to handle 25 pounds of boost on a fb green turbo with out any issues.
