Ok Im gonna try and explain this the best i can. I have a starting issue when engine is hot. The odd part is it only does it when i have over 1/4 tank of gas. If I have under 1/4 tank its starts up fine.

Heres what happens when its hot and over a 1/4 tank

It fires right up and dies. So if I hold the gas pedal when starting it, it will spit n sputter like crazy and wont rev n just die in a few seconds. I have to start it about 4 times till it will acutlly rev up, once it starts to rev it will sputter for 15 seconds or so(note Im only holding throttle around 25% or so) and then after about 15 seconds the rpms will climp and it starts to smooth out. Now after it smooths out and stops sputtering i can let off the throttle and it will idle great and run like a champ. Im stumped what this can be.

My temp sensor is good. I have a aftermarket afpr. 6 blt swap with flashible ecu. everything is stock on my car but the fpr and fmic kit. Its never done this before and i dont think its the fuel pressure solinoid(dont even have one). I did pull the vacumme line off teh afpr and try to start it and no differance still wont start like it should.

Im lost on why its only when im above 1/4 tank of gas

Do you have a gauge for the fpr? If so have someone watch to make sure you are building enough fuel pressure.

yes i have a gauge on the fpr. Ill give that a shot sometime tomorrow.

Only CEL im getting is the rear o2. and no its not the fuel pressure solenoid. I dissconnected the vacumme line to the afpr and still have the issue.

Evap system. Drive it, then try to start it. Basically get it to do what youre describing. Then pull the fuel cap out and try to start it then. If it will, something is wrong with your evap system

I have the evap system completely deleted. and its never done this till recently. even with the flashable ecu.

The fuel cap is stock setup. I havnt dont nething to it but the egr system delete/ charcoal canister delete.

it only spits n sputters after a hot start up. it does it as soon as you start it. and it only spits and sputters because I have to hold the throttle down to keep it from dying. Cold starts are fine no issues at all. after it starts when hot and spitting and sputtering is over it will idle and run like nothing was wrong

I'm goin to have to agree with a clogged vent somewhere, it rly does sound like the fuel system is getting vapor locked, I would check the vent in the fuel tank, when you put fuel in it at the as station does it ever click the gas pump off like the tank is full when it's accually not full? If it does that's another sign of a clogged vent. Hope this helps

When you deleted the canister what did you do with the line on the lower firewall that went to the canister? Did you cap it? I wonder if the stock fuel cap is vented or not. And I winder if our tanks have another way of relieving pressure or suction of the tank besides through the canister and into the engine. If its capped and your cap isn't vented then with less gas there is more room for hot air and fumes to expand and contract.
