nt 6 bolt 4g63 build for turbo

hi this is my first engine build and would like to know how strong are 2g turbo pistons are and if any one had any ideas on how to build a non turbo 4g63 into a turbo 4g63 and how to make it reliable. im only looking at making 375 to 350 or 12s because its a fwd.

I would go with aftermarket pistons for the build since I don’t think your block has the oil jets to cool the pistons.

You also might want to look into some rod’s, Eagle H-beams are nice and affordable.

If you are planning on boosting over 20 psi, I would get a set of Arp head bolts and a mls head gasket.

I’m not sure how your nt cams will perform with a turbo, but BC cams are affordable.

I’m only saying this since you wanted to have a reliable car

i agree i would go with some forged pistons or a comperable aftermarket sence the non turbo block has no oil jets as kjarri stated. you can usualy get a set of forged pistons with rods for between 500 - 900 depending you want them to be rated for....
