Hello everyone, well i just got a 95 gst and the check engine light is on. my friend told me that it needs a new map sensor and it'll be fine. also the car idles pretty high from 1100-2000. the car runs fine and everything. anyone know where i can find a cheap map sensor?
also. after i fix the CEL and get the car on the streets.... im gonna do a tune up and stuff but i would like to know what you guys did first on your eclipses for the most performance for the buck. I was thinking getting new intake/intercooler piping first or a new down pipe and custom exhaust or a boost controller.

(also need a new bumper, dont like the blitz one thats on it. wondering if the 97+ bumpers would fit on it.) also is the car a 2g? since its a 95?

. Your car doesnt have a MAP sensor. It has a MAS or MAF sensor. Whichever floats your boat. And the fact that your first post has the words "check engine light is on" OFFICIALLY makes you a DSM owner. I dont own one personally. Ive built my gf's gst and gsx. After dealing with them and how tight the engine bay is compared to my galant and how its uncomfortable to ride in for me id never own one. They are pretty fun. However a custom built boosted galant is even more fun ;-)
