My car is no longer throwing the p0505 code but is still running the same. Would the tps be affecting my speedometer because the speedo stopped working as well. And When the TPS starts to fail will you hear a ticking(more like an electrical sound, buzzing maybe) cause it sounds like its coming from that general area.

or is my speedsensor just faulty or unplugged

Like it has some monster cams in it. It idles really rough and low when cold around 300-500 rpm when its warm its around 7-850. At WOT the car just sputters like its getting too much air.

If you can check and all your throttle body sensors,
And check that your intake manifold gasket is good.....

If its blown it will give you those problems ....

Let me know how it goes ...

I doubt its the gasket cause then the idle would be high. My bet is plugs, wires, coil (not in that order). Also old gas can cause a rough idle just got a 96rs kid said it idled rough so I put new gas in it and now its fixed.

I have changed the coil pack Coils and spark plugs from iriduims to the suggested NGKs in the haynes booklet. I will try to change the Intake gasket cause thats the second time ive read that. I will try to get that replaced and update.

Changed the tps and the problem is still here.
Also I have also changed all injectors and cleaned out the gas tank with seafoam.

Well I had the same problem speedometer went out, and changed it still nothing, couldnt figure it out so I started rebuliding the car, when I took the tranny apart to rebuild there is a gear on the end of the speedometer senser, over time it the gear threds worn out so it was no longer making contact with the tranny gear once I fixed the gear it now works again hope this helps.
