As the title says. I just got one pressed on today. I think we pressed it together right. It will spin, it's just really hard to move, gotta use some force. Is it alright to put it on or should I take it apart again and redo it? We did pack it with some extra grease. Over time should it get easier to spin?

You pressed it in? What did you use? Last time I did a wheel bearing, I did not have to press the bearing in with any special tool. If it is a brand new bearing then it should have some resistance. BUT when you do get it moving, it should feel smooth not rough or notchy.

It is not rough or notchy, it is just hard to move. We used a 20ton press from harbor freight.

If you think it turns to hard it probably does. Is it on the car if so you might have overtorqued the axle nut.

They should turn pretty free. Maybe when you were pressing it in you kept pressing a little to much and it crushed some of the bearings a little. I have personally seen this happen when the axle nut was overtorqued. I wouldnt put it on the car though because you will probably just end up replacing it soon from premature where.

Brand new hubs for 2g's from the dealer are pretty tight from the factory. Ive replaced a few and they all have been tight and took a little effort to move by hand. Ive never seen one that just spins freely. When you bolt a wheel to it, it should be easier to move by hand.
