Please excuse my ignorance but why is the turbo compressor outlet on the right hand side of the car? Are there any gains in doing that?

There are a couple benifits to reversing the compressor inlet. First, it shortens the lower IC pipe by about a foot, which in theory, helps response. Second, the large compressor cover was very tight against the radiator fan facing the passenger side, so reversing it actually gained us some clearance. Third, we're prototyping that tubular manifold for a conquest, on which the compressor need to be oriented as such. Plus there's always something to be said for being different ;)

Thanks,
