Saturday night at Spokane raceway park. The pass was without nitrous, on a T3 GT35R. KaizenSpeed out of Kenniwick WA. built the car and It was only at 30-32 lbs of boost on a street tune. They havent gotten a chance to put it on there dyno yet because its a 2wd dyno, but they have a coupling to convert it to FWD for the pulls. If you want to know anything about the cars set up feel free to ask.

LOL, Ya thats very true, it sucks but true. Next year everyones going to be going 8's. The weight, if I were to guess, was 2900lbs, I took about 200-230lbs out of it. So somewhere in there weight wise.

Hopefully in about 2 weeks, We still need a cage in it, even thought they really dont care there. But I dont want to just race there.

Heres the video of the 2 passes I made 10.09 and 10.22. The track kind of went away towards the end of the night, plus I didnt set up my suspension very well, hence my revlimiter fun. I was off the clutch and on the limiter within a second. Il will be better next time though.

Why the switch to air to water?

The air-air that I had was FAR too small and very inneficient, so much so, that the intake temps soared to 130 degrees by the end of a 1/4 mile pass. They started at around 70. Im not sure what the temps start and finish at now but Im positive it is MUCH cooler. None of my passes with the new intercooler setup have been logged as of yet. Quite a few high HP muscle cars that have turbo setups run an air-water set up. The trick is to add ice to the water tank befor the pass so the intercooler melts the ice and therefor creates very cold air into the motor. Imagine takeing a beer or soda can out of the fridge, let it sit for 5-10 sec and feel how cold it is. Thats what the intercooler feels like. Plus the IC set up was less expensive than an air-air would have been and it cools even better. To give you an idea of times and mph, my fastest without the air-water was a [email protected]!!! There was a twin disc clutch added as well but you get the point.

I would think alot less then 2900Lbs by the interior pics, none the less great times.
 
The ABS was removed because the bends would have been too tight with the Magnus and 75mm throttle body from a previous set up (I still have the Magnus and T-body), so a adjustiable brake bias was installed. The brakes work exactly the same but just no ABS.

Congrats! Nice times and nice clean setup. I also run a W2A IC as well. but am using just a cheap Ebay Intercooler. I think for next year I'm switching to the barrel cooler as well. Install is just that much cleaner.

Is that a PWR unit?
 
Nice job, You might want to short shift into second gear, It will help your ET and MPH. Congrats again Bill:thumb: :thumb:
