hey i just installed my master n clutch cylinder... took me lets see 8 hrs... ( i feel retarded...LOL) but i got it done... now i went thru 2 12 oz bottles of dot 3 brake fluid... and the clutch still wont "bounce back" .. it not stuck to the floor but it wont come more than half way up.. ive followed the instructions on How to Bleed a Hydraulic Clutch - Team Rip Engineering . and still no luck.... ### lmk what else can be done....

hmm just did some more searching on vfaq and i saw dot 4.. do you think that would make a big difrence?

ok kool will do.

ok ive just did the bleed the system like 35 times and there still big bubbles comming out... how much air can possibly be in the lines.... ? and all so i have my "helper" pop the clutch pedal out since everytime i relieve the pressure it doesnt come out by it self thats fine right? it wont come more than half way out wen we release the petal...

When I replaced my master cyl I noticed the new one didnt have the same length rod as the old one. I just swapped them out and gave the new rod back with the old master cyl. (core charge)

Also, make sure you adjust you clutch right. Turn the adjustment rod out one turn at a time and check to see if you can push the slave cylinder in by hand. Once you cant push it in, then turn it back 1/2 - 1 turn.

That will give you the maximum possible clutch travel without getting the pedal pump up.
