What I have going on:
2gb spyder shell
AWD converted
Built 6 bolt motor
2gb awd trans with evo 3 gear set
black top CAS
Coil on plug conversion
GM IAT
GM 3 Bar MAP sensor wired in the MDP plug
Evo 8 Ecu running tephra v7 SD
Precision 1000cc injectors
Holset HX35
535 fuel pump 8an feed and 6an return
lc1 wideband I have a narrow band sensor installed also for the ecu. Eventually when its running I will wire the LC1 into the ecu.

I had to put a "new" engine harness in the car. I converted it from auto to manual and the previous owner hacked a bunch of wiring up. I do have a couple wiring questions but we will save those for now. The issue im having is I "think" the something is up with the map sensor scaling. The car tries to start but runs at 8afr. No matter what change I make to injector size or battery compensation it just runs really rich. Being how im running tephra SD Im not 100% sure that the ecu is actually using the correct values for the map sensor, when I open ecuflash and right click on the maps that need changed they revert back to the 3.5 or 4 bar map sensor instead of the Gm 3 bar like I set. I re scaled the map sensor in evo scan, the value starts at 14.5 and you are suppose to adjust that value until it reads 0 with the key on and car off. I have seen threads where people needed to change it to 14 or 14.2, but I had to change mine to 41.75 to get it to read 0. Im also getting 2 codes (p0183 no camshaft signal) and (p0335 no crankshaft reference signal). When I try to start the car I do get RPM so im curious why im getting those codes. I used a conversion harness for a 6 bolt cas to 2gb harness so it had the crank signal wire and cas wiring. I attached my rom and some pictures of evoscan and even a picture of the ecm link injector settings from when this motor was in a galant vr4 running ecmlink. I have really good grounds to the chassis and engine, The battery is in the trunk so I have 0 gauge wiring for power and ground going to the front of the car and all the power and grounds connect there.

The wiring issue.... The previous owner chopped the wiring behind the stereo, I found some ecu grounds in there and got those fixed but I would love to find the wiring diagram for that part of the spyder. The part in question is the big harness behind the stereo. I attached a photo.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and if you have any idea's or corrections that need to be made let me know.

Thank you

I figured out part of the issue. My 535 is over running my fuel lab fuel pressure regulator. I can only get the pressure down to about 45. If I set the injector size to 2500 I can get the motor to actually lean out. still wont run though. Its a start I guess

Run the return into a bucket to verify it's the AFRP and not the return line into and at the tank. There have been issues reported in the past with the return but I don't remember all the details.
I will try that.

The feed is 8AN from a bulkhead fitting I got from STM in the fuel pump hat and the return is a 6AN bulkhead fitting in the fuel pump hat I added. I ran 8AN and 6AN from the hat to the engine bay. Both lines are PTFE front to back.

I have a fuel lab regulator with 6AN fittings and and the rail has a 8AN on the left side and a 6AN on the right side that feeds the regulator.

I believe those kavlico sensors that you have in your image have a different scaling offset than the GM type sensors. You need the actual scaling, sometimes called a transfer function for a GM. From memory the kavlico are 0.5-4.5 vdc and gm are 0-5vdc. So while they might both be 3 bar, they have vastly different outputs for the same input psia.

You may have to make a custom scaling with the correct GM values to pick in the drop down menu. That is done in one of the rom xml files.

The evoscan edits are simply so that it shows the correct numbers in the logger. It has zero to do with allowing the car to run properly.

It’s been over 10 years since I did this, but you will want the proper scaling for the GM 3 bar in your ecu flash xml. Below is what I think it should be for a GM (or Omni) 3 bar. I believe in bold is what changes the scaling for the map sensor. Again, it’s been 10 years, but hopefully this gets you on the correct path.

<scaling name="GM 3 bar MAP 16bit" units="kPa" toexpr="x*0.3014" frexpr="x/0.4072" format="%.1f" min="0" max="450" inc="0.4072" storagetype="uint16" endian="big"/>

Update: I couldn't get Tephra to work right with my setup so im currently wiring up a MS3x to take its place.
