I just bought a greddy FMIC kit for my 98 eclipse gst and noticed that the pipes are designed for the stock turbo, not an aftermarket, such as the 16g i have on my car.
What can i do to make it fit?

I have the same setup you have. It works fine for me. I have a Slowboy j-pipe and addition pipe that connects to the j-pipe which connects to the greddy pipe. If that makes sense. If nto let me know i'll try and get some pictures for you.

Pics would definitely help.

Thanks.

& an L shaped pipe

These will make your pipeing end up at the same place as the stock setup would have, which the greddy ic is designed to work with. You can get them from RRE Engineering.

daren_p,
Those pipes also go to the stock intercooler position, not the stock position of the turbo. I already have the J-Pipe that goes to the turbo (which i bought from RRE), i just cut the stock rubber hose and connected the j-pipe to it.

The J-pipe can connection directly to the intercooler location. You either need to use your stock lower intercooler pipe or get the "L-pipe" as pictured to go stock intercooler locatioin. It will also require remove that black box that hangs there. I will try and get pictures up today or tomorrow for you. I have both the J-pipe and L-pipe on my car along with the Greddy FMIC.

The 95-96 were the ones with the silencer only  ....as for the piping, wether u have the stock pipe or the L one....it should bolt up because that pipe should end up where the outlet to the stock intercooler was.... and the greddy pipe leads straight there so i dunno why they arent meeting up for u to connect with a coupler or the clamp....

Ok, so then the greddy intercooler pipe ends up at the stock intercooler connecting point and not the stock turbo outlet? If that is the case then i should have no problem hooking it up using the piece from the stock rubber lower intercooler line then.
