I need alot alot of help. See I just finally got my 420a-t running again after a recent head gasket replacement, everything sealed up great and no vacuum leaks either. Well first of all here comes the retarded part, to keep my idle going I had to adjust my throttle cable back so that it'll stay idling, that's problem number one, not sure if that has to do with vacuum but it wont stay idling if its resting on the governor screw. And the car sat for a long time so when I went to drive it, smoke comes out of the exhaust, I mixed brand new gas with the remaining gas that was in there which was like nothing. I'm not sure if that from that old gas or not, maybe I'm burning oil or something. When I start it, it sounds like it going to die then it goes to about 800 rpm and stays there... Well long story short I take it for a spin even though this smoke coming from the exhaust ( not too much but it is) then I decide to give it a bit of a small launch, well shortly after I hear a clinking noise coming from the front left side, I make it home and I try to see what it is but I couldn't see anything. Well I take it around the block and it seems the clinking only happens when i'm not accelerating nor braking. Well I pull up to park and I turn and my wheels just lock up out of no where, I try to put it in reverse and it rolls about 5 feet then locks up in reverse. It locks up both ways, even in nuetral with the clutch engaged. I'm so confused with this car I dont know where to start with anything. And as you can see i'm new to working on dsm's. I did get the gasket good but it seems like everything else is falling apart..
