This is my project car that I have been working on for about 6 months now. I figured I would post up some pics to see what you all think. Its a 1990 Tsi AWD, I have done the complete front end swap. Complete rear end swap(no pics at this time). Painted the engine bay and installed a FMIC. Its far from dont but its a start.

I know that your goals are different than mine......and that is OK......but I have read from a reliable souce that about 100 pounds of weight can be stripped out of the interior of a 1st generation car.......the general rule is 100 pounds equals 1/10th of a second off the 1/4 mile ET times? Is racing a tin can on wheels worth 1/10th of a second? just think about it for a minute before you answer........I say no.........My '90 AWD Talon has 58,000 miles on it.......I would never strip my car down to the frame for only 1/10th of a second gain  Just my 02 cents worth.........

I only stripped it down to change the interior color. It has the horrible brown color in it. Its all gettin put back in but its gonna be gray and black. I dont intend on making it a drag car. Its gonna be a daily driver.

I will be honest with you guys, I wish I would have left it as a flip up headlight car. But there is no turning back now. Its a done deal, way to much cuttin welding and painting has taken place to turn back.
