This is my project car that I have been working on for about 6 months now. I figured I would post up some pics to see what you all think. Its a 1990 Tsi AWD, I have done the complete front end swap. Complete rear end swap(no pics at this time). Painted the engine bay and installed a FMIC. Its far from dont but its a start.

The reason it looks like a moster truck is becouse there is absolutely nothing left under the hood. And the tires are way to big!!

Yes it does. It doesnt even have any interior in it now. I took it to the extreme.

The FMIC is a kit I got off of ebay a good while ago. Its JDM Sport, I havnt seen them on there forever. I think it was $220 shipped to the door with all the pipeing.

The wheels are Enkei's. I beleive there RS5's. I bought them off a buddy of mine who had them on a cavalier. Then put them on his 420a eclipse. Then I bought them put them on my cav, and now they have been on both of my AWD's.

have pic's or a wiring diagram for the headlights? I'm interested in doing the same for my 91 tsi, i have

No I just went to the local U-Pull it an bought the correct harness. Just plug it in. As for the tails, I havnt got that far yet. And from what ive been reading theres a little to be done back there.

Car is looking good, keep at it! I got a set of Kyowa Racing KR518's that don't fit my Eclipse, but they fit my Sunfire I had. So I'm assuming that the 1g's lug pattern is 5x100 instead of 5x114.3 like the 2g, or do the wheels have lug holes to fit both?

Yeah my wheels are universal 5 lug. The 1gs are the same as 2gs. These wheels were also on a 2g at one point in there life. And thanks for the compliments. I just got a new job makin $3 more on the hour so I might actually have a little extra cash to get on the ball and finish it.

No idea why you'd give up popup sexiness for fixed beams. :b

I agree. Thats the one thing that defines us early model owners form the rest of them. It almost seems like ## just conforming to something. But hey its your car not mine.
