2G My ISC O-ring probably shouldn't look like this...

Im having a ton of idle issues so I took apart the ISC and this o ring...how does yours look?

By the looks of it whoever played with that motor previously loved to throw that orange stuff on everything.

In my experience, the standard o ring sealed better with no rtv / gasket maker on it.
 
He probably had the same issue I'm having...even with a new o-ring, it still leaks. I too have tried a combination of RTV with o-ring (NOT a good idea) I broke my ISC removing it. And even with all the RTV it still leaked.
