So I had the dual gauge cluster pod, and found it hard to see the gauges with my arms being in the way and what not, so I decided to make a dual gauge pod that goes on the steering column, since they do not sell one for a dsm (atleast I could not find one). Here are some pictures starting than finished. Let me know what you think/opinions. I do plan on making a couple more to further my fiberglassing skills. Sorry for the crappy phone pics, and I know it is not perfect (first time fiberglassing)

It dosent block my view, its just how it is at the angle in which I took the picture. But these gauges do not block anything.

Thanks, and its not all that hard, just time consuming. Some buddies want a custom ac vent gauge pod, so well see how it goes LOL.

i wanna find a place to hide 5 gauges soo everything looks stock and them still use them for racing and have good visibility

wow that video was pretty sweet thats exactly what im talking i could put 3 behind the ac vents and that would be it.
Also i like the custom pods that the op did better that those in the pic

the OP's custom work looks far better than the other one.
But i like this one more and doesn't appear as if it is in the way at all.

I had that glowshift pod. Its a nice pod, but it's hard to see how my seat is positioned, and how I drive with my arms, it was hard to keep an eye on it. I also like the pod I made better, clear view, and looks pretty good. Always liked how they had this pod for the evo. I will be making a couple of ac vent dual pods and a couple steering column pods. Thanks for all the compliments.

Anyone else get memories of their childhood and mickey mouse with that gauge pod?? ;) Very cool though. I made a custom one for my center ac vent to hold my SAFC-II and my turbo timer..I will post pics when i get off work

Do you use mounting brackets on the back of the gauge? I don't see how that would work so I'm guessing the gauges just slide in. Do they move around at all while driving?
