The quality looks A+ my friend. I have the Glowshift one, and love it though, helps me keep a sleek stock look, and i have my 2 most important in it, Oil Pressure and Tranny temp (im a auto).

I would switch out the volt meter though, if you are going to have something there make it more "useable". Personally i would find myself distracted, but if i was gona be i would like it to be a wideband, oil pressure instead of the volt.
 
I have wideband/oil pres, and egt in my a pillar pod. More visable then the column just due to the fact that sometimes my hands/arms are in the way. I needed an extra gauge for it, and had that laying around so I threw it in there LOL.
 
It is pretty simple actually. I have a couple more I am making for some friends. The best advice I can offer is to practice, practice practice!
