Wide band is not working properly.
When motor is off it will fluctuate all over the place instead of creeping and holding at 22.4
Think my sensor is bad out of the box!

Thoughts?

Thanks!

You also should start your car as you normally would, not *wait* for the heater circuit to finish. If you do that too many times, you could have damaged the sensor from shock cooling, as stated in the directions for this portion of the installation.

What happens is you heated the sensor up, which expects the engine to be on at this time, warming up. The heater doesn't stay on, it expects the motor to keep the sensor warm. So the heater circuit shut back off, THEN you started your car, pushing cold air past the o2 sensor, which shocks it and could damage it.

So take it back out, recalibrate it, then start your car normally from now on and see what happens.

Make sure to read the directions about unplugging the sensor and what happens when power is applied to the gauge, which resets the calibration, things like that.

Well the problem seemed to be my FPR steel braided line had worn on down the coating of the knock sensor, it would contact for a split second causing the wide band to wig out for some reason.....

If that changes I'll update :)

Well that wasn't the issue, the issue was not severing the white wires from the front o2. Thought it being a dead line would have no issues, but apparently the dead line still sucks voltage. I snipped the wire, that fix the problem! Make sure you snip both white wires and connect the wide band directly to the ECU. Do not T wires, make it a straight shot.
