Yeah, but I'm not one for holeshots. I was thinking of no boost lag when getting on the power coming onto the free way or out of a corner.

if you went with Crower stage one cams it's really not much different from stock from what i have read. the stage 2 have more power and you dont NEED to change cam gears or anything else at all. everything looks just like it's stock but it will change the sound a little but a cop wont be able to tell unless they have you and another 420 back to back. with the crower stage 2 cams they recommend upgrading your springs and retainers (what company doesn't try to sell you something else?). Most who do (like me) upgrade their springs and retainers only do it out of habit of not wanting to mess anything up while building your car up. i would rather be safe than sorry.

if you do look into cams make sure to get the 420A cams. not the 4G63!. they may try to sell you 272's but they will not work no matter what you try to do to your car.

Hmm thanks! that actually helped me a lot! couse i actually just wanted an answer like that for the cams! wheather or its a yes it can look stock or no it wont look stock! i might doing it REAL soon for my 420a! thanks dude appreciate the help! any other suggestions after cam's? since im in the CAM area, anything else i can add that wont look MOD'd but still add some more HP?

upgrading to crower 2's will all still look stock. nothing will be noticed with the car off what so ever. if you upgrade to crower 3's then they have a list of mods you should do to the car first like pistons/rods, springs/retainers, ect. if your going to go with cams you can also get cam gears at the same time to make your job easier. i ordered mine from aem for the dodge neon and it saved me like 60 bucks a piece. Have you done your underdrive pulley yet? i recommend the afx one from howel automotive

i don't see the pulley on thier page anymore. But just google "AFX Underdrive Pulley"

Just scroll half way down till you see the 420A build

i see you have done some exhaust/intake work.
i would recommend getting your throttle body bored out to 55mm or buy a custom 55mm TB.
You can go 60mm but for n/a with mild work done you will lose more hp honestly.

i Found some CAM Shafts for my car and did my research and these are the cheapest ones i can get unless their no brand name, and yeah i don't think ill be putting a no brand name in my car. .

I'm going to buy them if my budget cuts it. 8) hopefully it does, and i did a quick research on the AFX under pulley and found some already, and yes! i was thinking of getting my throttle body to a 55mm! thanks a bunch bro for you're help! i don't want to get to much info or ill become broke! but for now! what needs to be done

Summet cams are all the same price between stage 1, 2, 2t, or 3. i would go with the stage 2 so you wont feel the need to upgrade them again later.

cam gears, theres quite a few companies out there to go with. i will leave that to you. As long as you haven't hacked your cam gear cover, it should hide away in there. if they really wanted to be dicks and had a screwdriver they could look in the peephole. But i doubt they would.

as for the underpulley, you will need to replace the belt as well (they usually ship one with it) even the CA cops won't notice that at all. it's hidden too under the rest of everything else and unless they raise your car and visually inspect it they still probably wouldn't notice it isn't stock. but theres a few company's out there that make these too. i just went with the afx because they actually had dyno numbers showing improvement over stock.

throttlebodys are all over the place. you can mod a Jeep throttlebody if you wanted. i forget the years. Some companys sell a direct bolt on for our cars for like 150-250 bucks. That's a rip and a half! i ordered mine online for like 50 bucks shipped from america. give me a few hours and il find out where i got it. they sent me a magnet that's on my dad's fridge . il call him in the morning and ask what it says and if theyre still around.

Everyone one i have herd herd get stage 1 has come back and said they wished they had stage 2. Its like buying a flat screen go one stage bigger . I recommend the stage 2's. For the under drive i went with U R - unorthodox racing, i wanted an AFX, but at the time when i called them they didnt have any and had no idea when they would. This was a good 6 months ago or so, so it is possible they have some by now, if not U R is a good substitute.

As for summit, i love them, but they are a tad bit over priced on the cams, i'll try and find out where i ordered mine from, they were only around the 300 range though.

And yes I may plan on getting a stage 2 crowed but it says specifically for turbo or super charged?? Any answers for that?

Look carefully, there are two stage 2 packages. One is Stage 2, the other is Stage 2T. the t is specifically for turbo application, and i've heard it lacks in performance and people with the 420A engine that got them swapped them out for the Stage 2 non T cams.

Hello Rolo. the throttlebody wont be too much difference (in reality) if you drive manual, you will feel how it has changed in your shifting. Not too sure about on an automatic (never learned how to drive one). the throttlebody i got mine from is just plug and play, all you have to do is take yours out and swap the sensors and thats all. Good luck to you. if you're doing the throttle body i would also suggest looking for an underdrive pulley too. they are cheap and easy to do. all you need is to be able to get under the car (assuming you have the tools to get the pulley off). Just re-route the new belt and you're set. it's not like cams or cam gears where you have to take things apart and mess with the timing and such.

found the place where i got my cams from, either i got a better deal on them, or summit dropped there prices. either way these are cheaper but not by much.

Fork paying a stupid amount for a TB. Get you a junked Jeep TB and mod it. I got one from a junk yard for 15 dollars w/sensors. Took me an hour to mod.

if i were to get bigger injectors and a new intake manifold will that add horsepower?

the intake manny will but bigger injectors wont...## ecu is gunna inject just as much fuel as stock injectors needed. untill you tune or upgrade ## ecu, bigger injectors are pointless
