What Mod Would You Do Next For More N/A Power?

Before buying a kit from someone on ebay I would check into the Nitrous Outlet/Nitro Daves kits. They are top notch kits for a cheaper price, a lot of domestic guys run his kits, and I have run it with great success.:thumb:

Thanks for the reply.. I'm looking at the website Nitrous Outlet » Complete Nitrous Kits & Nitrous Accessories is this the right one??

I don't see any nitrous kits for cheaper than $350 here?? You don't think the one made by NoS holley on ebay is good?

You can probably get a kit on craigslist or something used for cheaper. Just get a wet kit. I think a 75 shot would be fine for your car. I sprayed my motor with 120,000 miles for 2 years going through a couple bottles a month with no problems at all.

What my plans have been after alot of research and number crunching, I have decided the best plan is to improve the basic fundamentals that an engine needs to be the most efficient. I suggest (if you havent already) planning a smooth route for your CAI that positions the the inlet (filter) in a spot that is completely closed off from the engine compartment for the coolest air possible. The cooler air will improve performance in the entire RPM range and help prevent detionation and allow you to adjust timing more with a tune. Other then the above mentioned I would just do a routine maintance check and make sure everything is good to go. I agree strongly with a tune (megasquirt if you are willing and able is a great option) and nitrous is the best horsepower per dollar upgrade available in your price range. The jeep TB is a great modification and could be cheap. It should give you about 10hp given your mods so far and improve throttle responce to boot. Good luck.

At this point your car is running rich as f*ck in the upper rpm range and that is a severe hp limiting factor. I'd go for MS, but if you dd this and want to stay in more basic stuff then a used SAFC-II from here/craigslist would be a good option. Nitrous is also fine.

I woudn't recommend cams 'cause then you should change the valve springs and preferrably lifters & rockers too just to make sure. This makes cam upgrade go over your budget.

EDIT: AFX ECU would be your best option if you won't spray it!!!
