Alright im going to be buying a new block and head from dsmgraveyard. On the oversize options on the block should i pick .020 or .040. also on the head what should i pick for porting? debur porting or stage one porting.

Keep in mind im going to be driving this car with no mods for a while. I plan on putting a turbo on it maybe after year. so i need it to were i can drive with no mods for a while but when i put turbo on it will also work still. Please help. thanks

I would go .020 over, and stage 1 porting, maybe get some mild cams, stock 420A NA comp is like 9.4:1 or something so go 9:1 with forged internals and that way you can drive it as is for now then get a turbo for it later...

if im not mistaken didn't you already post a thread like this stating that you were also buying a GS-T or a GSX?

Close. Stock NA Compression ratio is 9.6:1. You can have pistons made to any compression ratio you want, but it will cost more for a custom grind. 9:1 would be a nice ratio to have, though. As for cams, IIRC, the Crane turbo grinds are good for NA, too. Anyone feel free to correct me on that one.

OP: If you want a custom piston, you should talk to Bullet. He has a guy.

I'd choose the 0.020" over bore, 8.8:1 pistons, and very mild head porting... I'm not familiar with DSM Graveyard's services, but "debur porting" sounds sufficient.

You generally don't want to bore the cylinders more than you have to. If they were never bored before, 0.020" over should be enough to ensure they're round and not tapered.
