HERE, DAMMIT!

http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=237982

ok n00b question here.. i got my MBC all hooked up fine (dejon tool.. sweet!) i'm just wondering what to do with the stock boost solenoid hoses.. i took the top one completely off (this is the one that was going to my intake pipe.. then capped that nipple on the pipe) .. the one on the bottom, that tees off and goes to both the wastegate and the turbo housing, is still there. i just bent it backwards and stuck it in the bracket that the top hose was at.. its still connected to the solenoid though. is this alright? can i leave it on there like that will it screw anything up?

Ok so I am looking at this pic to find out whats up..
http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/attachment.php?s=&postid=376971

Now I understand the way that it works but I have one Q though...On the wastegate there is a T-connection...and one line goes to the little black plastic piece under the aircan that has two hoses on it.Now one line of the MBC should go to the wastegate right? So do I need to separate the T-conneector at the wastegate, or do I take the line from the wastegate that goes to the plastic piece and unplug it at the plastic piece to connect it to the MBC or what? The line from the wastegate is the lower one on the plastic piece and if I remove it there and pug it to the MBC I just cap the connector it was on from the biginning or what?
I have the BOVlines and all clear to me..its just that line to the wastegate I am confused about..

Its the DEJON DUAL MBC I am installing.......

Run the line from your BOV line to your MBC and the line out of your MBC to your Wastegate. Pull all that factory crap out when you're doing that. Don't forget to cap off the nipple on the compressor side of your turbo.

Ok I think Igot it now..read through alotof posts and found what I needed..

I just remove the hoses from the BCS and the wastegate....tap in the hose from the MBC directly on the wastegate nipple and the other hose either to the BOV line or directly on the turbo outlet nipple(wich will be capped as well if I go with the BOV line).I will try the BOV line at first to see how it works.
The line from the BCS to the intake will be removed as well right? Then I just cap the intake nipple of too.

Ok so now I got it installed..except for the electrical switch..and I asume it will hold stock boost til you flip the switch right? Or can I have one setting on the off-side ..and one higher on the on-side?

What I mean is ...can i have say 14psi on the low setting and say 17on the high setting..or will it keep stock boost no matter what on the low setting? I turned the knob down alot now and still cant come up to more then 11psi...but then the electrical switch is not connected yet..I just wanted to make sure it didnt go all the way or some other faults before I start to mess too much*LOL*

Before i put the electrical switch in I will of course turn the screw up again so I dont hit 25psi once I flip the switch!!!!

EDIT: Ok I got it now..the low settings is there no matter how far down I turn the knob and high will only come on when I flip the switch...so I guess i will stay at 11PSI for now til the switch is connected tomorrow:) Then we start to look at how high I can go..will prolly stay at 14 or maybe 15 tops until I get the rest of the stuf on the car as well to supoprt higher boosts....

Just to inform ya all...Mine is working right as it should now...Got it hooked up and its set for 15PSI on nhigh boost now..You can surely feel the difference when ya hit the switch.

Only thing now is that when I go WOT it raises instantly to 18psi for a split second and then lands on 15 and stays there for as long as I go WOT almost..it just drops a litte litle bit to 14-13,5 as I go along and picks up speed.....Is this ok or is something wrong since it peaks for a split second a bit higher then it stays on after that? What couldI do to prevent this if this is wrong

ok first I am not an idiot when it comes to working on cars...

now that thats out of the way...I am very upset right now...I cannot get this #$#@ing piece of @#$@ to %#$ing work:mad:

k here is what I have done

ripped out all the bcs vacuum lines...pluged the bcs, air intake, and turbo housing...ran line from wastegate to bottom of mbc...ran line from bov line to side of mbc.

It does not work:mad:

what the $#% is wrong???

sorry I meant to say that I t'd into the line from the manifold and the bov

just to be clear I want to know what side and bottom are. When I say side I mean across from the adjustment nut. Bottom I mean the downward stroke of the T

i had a question i was going to start a new thread about, but i suppose i could ask it here:

what do i use to plug up the little hole where the the hose connected to the turbo? can i leave it open?

other than that, i just hook it up like this right:

thanks!

I used a rubber vacuum plug that I got at pepboys...

I think that the problem with mine is that my bov is leaking...i really need to get that d@mn flange.

if you are still having problems instead of running hte line to T in to the BOV run that line to the compressor housing on your t25. I did this and god only knows why it fixed my problem.

installed my mbc today and it was pretty easy, just get those rubber plugs (my kit came iwth 2) and follow that diagram

OK, I have a MBC and have the basic idea of how to install it, just run a sylicone hose from the acctuator to the MBC, then from the MBC to a pressure source on the turbine housing. Also, I know I have to remove the factory BCS, would anyone know how to go about doing this? Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks.

BTW, here is the MBC I will be installing, http://www.imagestation.com/album/index.html?id=4290135867

Just unplug the BCS and put some tape over the end of the electrical connection that is left behind. Tap the small line running off your BOV and run that over to the side of your MBC that has the ball in it. Then run the other connection to the wastegate. I know there is a pic up on here numerous times showing what I'm trying to explain.

OK, so lets see if I got this right. First of all, I can get rid of the two hoses that go from the BCS to the aircan and the other which goes to the T fitting(indicated by the red arrow) right? Then T in my MBC using a couple feet of sylicone hose from the pressure source(indicated bygreen) to the acctuator(indicated by yellow)and then just get rid of the old hose going from the pressure source to the acctuator.

Sorry, just want to make sure I do it right.
