Also I have a bet going that my 2G GST will run better than a 15.3 1/4. My Mods:K&N fipk, gutted cat, muffler, stage 3 clutch, short shifter, Blitz BOV, and 18 PSi of boost. can it be done, i strongly think so?

Its all how you drive. Many people have done a better time then that stock but w/ FWD you have to practice launching it.
Recirculate your BOV and try turning down your boost. It should feel faster since you're blowing hot air w/ the T-25. Also,, go to the track on a cold day ;)

OR pick up a 14b for 60-120 bucks and be almost garunteed a good time w/ the right driving.

you're the one i sent here from probetalk....as i said over there, with your turbo smoking under boost, you wont do a 15.3, you need a rebuild of your turbo or perhaps a bigger one

Pretty much is your 60' what matters...
whats your best 60' so far, and what trap speed you had?, and if you have 15+ psi, you should be able to hit at least 15 flat easily.

Ok just got a 2nd gen. GST and the guy i purchased it from said it is pushing 18PSi but it is not safe. can a t25 push 18PSI

You should run 2psi since your car is such a piece of shit....LOL

Just joking, I finally got a username up in here. were still going to edgewater right?

You should definitely break 15.3 if you drive well. Very low 15s to a flat 15 is about what a stock 2G FWD turbo runs. Those mods should have you into the high 14s with the right driving. Remember not to shift at the redline with a T25. The boost starts to fall at a little over 5.5K. Shift at about 6-6.2K in first gear, and right at 6K at higher gears.

I know people that can push the T25 up to 24psi. But of course they don't have stock internals either. I am at 15 and keeping it that way until I do manifold/fuel work. I run low 14's with stock internals and just 15 PSI

I got to the track at about 9:15 they close up at 10:30. so I only got 1 run. It ran a 15.6 OMG @88mph but I burnt like hell shifted at 6500 in all gears and did the 60' in 2.6. Thats got to be the best run ever LOL. I got my ass kicked off the line but it seemed like vs. a GSX I started to catch up in 3rd gear OMG . if only I got a better start. i'm going next friday too so I hope to get a 15 flat or better.

Even with the stock suspension you should be able to get around a 2.3 60'. That will help you alot more with a final run.

My best with stock suspension and my Nitto's was a 2.2 60'. That is a good target for stock everything and street tires. There are others out there that have gotten better I am sure. But this is a pretty good 60' for us FWD guys. (This is with NO LSD)

Anything over 15psi is pointless and asking for the turbos early death.

Some people have made power at more psi then that on a dyno but for daily driving 15psi will be better.

I guess it all depends on how close or if you even want to go bigger in the turbo dept. sooner or later.

hey "midnight" what kind of nittos. I have some NT450 extreme performance on my diamante. there brand new.

Neo Gens at about 23psi in the front tires and 38psi in the rear.

They are a very nice tire. I like the grip they give in all weather.

BUT....

If you can afford the BFG KDWs like the ones that are stock on the 04 SRT-4's, go with those. They are the best street tire for all weather conditions on the market right now. :thumb:

HEY GUYZ OMG I learned how to control the burn and droped my front tires to 20PSI. I just got a 5.98 0-60 that is the shit  Also when I go 2 the track fri. i'm gona' gut the ever lovin' shit out of my hatch and pull the back seat I hope it helps. :thumb:

*and remove the front passenger headlight....

I dont know about this, my friend has a stock GSX with some goodies, boost gauge, af gauge, MBC.
What do you think is a safe boost level to run?
Hes running about 10 right now because he is really playing it safe, but he wants to be really high, like 17-18.
Is it safe to run 17-18 psi on the stock turbo and stock setup of this car?
Thanks

Dan :dsm:

It is not your turbo that is holding back form you boosting it is your stock fuel pump and injectors. Usually people say keep it to 15psi to be safe.

Im putting my six bolt in my 94 automatic, with that said im using the ecu from the 94 so it will be used to using 390cc injectors instead of the 450s so it will be running rich, how much boost should i be able to run to lean it out a little bit? I have all the intake and free mods done and my exhaust should be on soon.
