hi,
i have a Mitsubishi Eclipse gs-t 97. recently, my check engine light is on. i took it to midas and they did a diagnostic check and they told me that mine map sensor is the cause of the problem. So i had them change my map sensor but half an hour after the light came back on. they thought probably the map sensor they ordered is defective, so they ordered another map sensor. They changed the first one to the 2nd map sensor and it still has the same problem. They also did multiple diagnostic check and they still get the same code number which is the map sensor code. Please help me if you have encounter this kind of problem before or please give me some advices what should i do.

Your car doent have a MAP sensor, it has a MAF. Go to Autozone and rent a OBDII scanner, it will tell you what is wrong.:dsm:

I have always had to rent a scanner, but i dont have to pay for the rental tool, I just put it on my account.:dsm:
