Absolutely no reason? How about using less force the turn the steering wheel?

I've had power steering off my car since day 3 of owning it(I only weigh 140lbs). My fiance, who I consider grotesquely weak, drove her talon for over 6 months without power steering... I prefer no PS because you have a better feel of the road, and if you car is moving there is very little difference. Only time I hate having no PS is in difficult parking situations.

Fotowntalon do you know what could be causing my header to get extremely HOT really fast...

Once I turn car on within 10 seconds the header is as hot our hotter than me running it hours straight. I feel that if I run it for 10 minutes it will start glowing. There is a slight leak where header connects to down pipe. My buddy said that leak its the reason for the header getting extremely HOT

You got some bicycle tires on there? I'd love to have seen you or your girl turn my rx-7 with no power steering. And you realized you have to "park" every single time you drive the car?

Are your temps any different? Headers are always hot, so get an egt gauge but I doubt there is a problem unless your cat is clogged.

Ok now, that I'm only running alt on pulley its there a snapper lighter single pulley I can mount instead of spending a ton on under drive which would slow what I dont have LOL. Not worth money to me. But if its the only way to free up some more power I'll but the JET one

Difficult parking is much different than normal everyday parking. My tires are listen in my profile. If I am being 100% honest, every car is different without power steering (from what I am told), but its deffidently something to get use to. Was hell for the first week or two I had it, then became easier every day, now I don't even notice it and hate driving a car with power steering

I agree with this, if its abnormally hot and glowing, perhaps check yuor cat to see if that is clogged as well

Whats this "snapper lighter" thing you are talking about. Are you talking about an underdrive pulley? If so it has become rather interesting as of late. I hear that ## is done making them and there limited stock got jacked up WAY through the roof, AFX are always good ones but once again, they rarily make those. This leaves you very few options, there is a modern performance one I beleive but if memory serves me correct it requies a different belt, or you can go with the obx one off ebay :barf:. My suggestion would be to check out this link 2GNT.com Forums - Viewing topic - GI: Limited run 420a UDPs
