I just installed an aem uego and the pos wont power on(used).

I have this extra LC1 Kit(used) but im wondering what i am missing before i install. It powers on when i apply power to it.

I believe im missing an 12v LED and push button but i have no idea which to buy to replace since theyre discontinued.

Is there an auxiliary cable missing? Thank you

The switch and LEDs you showed look ok to me.
Switch is momentary, normally open, yup.
I don't really see a cable missing, but I never had the gauge with mine so I maybe wouldn't know.
The 6 little wires coming out the end of the fat controller cable look correct, and those are the ones I used - red, black, brown, blue, yellow, white. I got pissed at them for being hard to work with because they are so small. I think I actually complained to Innovate tech support about it LOL
But mine always worked perfectly.

Thank you x2
I appreciate it greatly 🤘🏻

Oops, those LEDs configured for 12 volts are probably not going to work.
I still have my switch panel that I made and it still has the original LED in it.
So I tested the LED just now with my multimeter set to test forward voltage of a diode.
It lit up the LED and the meter reads 1.60 volts.
It is a red LED, and red LEDs do normally have a forward voltage of 1.6 to 2.0 volts.
So anyway I think what you want is an ordinary red LED, not one configured for 12 volts.
BTW blue LEDs have a different forward voltage, and so do white ones.
I don't know what voltage is coming out of that little red wire that comes from the Innovate wideband controller to the LED. But apparently it is designed for a red LED. The web page you buy the LED from should say that its forward voltage is somewhere between 1.6 and 2.0 volts. If all else fails I could mail you my old one, I mean like for free.
Here's a couple of short and good things to read about the voltages:

https://www.circuitbread.com/ee-faq/the-forward-voltages-of-different-leds

https://www.circuitbread.com/ee-faq/how-to-test-leds-with-digital-multimeters-dmms

I'll post a shot of my old LED on the panel so you can see the 2 wires coming out the back.

Here's the original red LED on my switch panel. I must be getting better at stripping these little wires without wrecking them. I didn't have to yell at it once!

Thank you for the articles! The info looks like ill need 12v to power.

I will gladly pay you for shipping & whatever you need for the LED. Thank you again for all your help 🤝🏼🤘🏻

I had wrote the seller to cancel my order & to ask about the forward voltage. The seller says theyll power with less than 12v. According to the article, they should work fine. The seller claims that the 12v is there because its the most common voltage used. I'll continue this order, wire up the lights & reply with the results next week. Thank you again @We're on Boost 🤝🏼

Ok let's try it that way then. You know what, he might be right. They might light up ok.
Because guess what, I have a 10 pack of small blue "12 volt" LEDs that I bought a few years ago for something on my Toyota. They are probably almost identical to what you bought. I found them just now and put them on the diode test. They light up, and the meter reads 2.64 volts, even though they have a resistor in series built into the red wire going to the LED.
2.64 volts is right in the range for a blue LED. They don't light very bright, but the original red one didn't light very bright either.
So this should be interesting! If you decide at some point that you'd like to have my old red one, let me know, I could cook up some packaging to keep it "safe" in transit.
In this picture I included the little bag of things that are like compression fittings that fit the smooth sided 5mm blue LEDs to a certain size hole and latch it in.
I don't know a whole lot about LEDs but I have read that the real way to power them is by limiting the amount of current that goes to them, rather than by limiting the voltage. That might be what is going on here.
