Just Got 90 Laser RS turbo and have questions

Hi.

My dad had a laser sitting in his back yard for quite some time. and finally he decided to let it go. So! i got it for free.

engine is sitting at 270k km, but engine and turbo were rebuilt only 10K ago.4

it has been sitting for 4 years so i probably have lots repairs to do first, but i like to know, since i am very new to this DSM stuff,

can anyone simply give me some keywords, so i can do further research.

what are the basic bolt on mods?

Welcome to the site teamgoblin.

Empty the fuel tank, clean all the fuel lines, change the fuel filter, get a few gallons of fresh high octane fuel, replace all the other fluids, and filters, inspect the cv axle boots and all the suspension parts etc.
inspect the air cleaner, spark plugs, do a boost leak test.
inspect the drive belts, and timing belt/ balancer belt.

oh and follow all the above advice, and take a look over all the maintenance guides,then look over the upgrade paths.

First mods should be a boost controller turned all the way up and lots of NAWZZ and a holset hx52. Just kidding welcome to the team. Follow the upgrade paths and required maintenance and you should be good to go.
