I had a lifter tick on my 1999 GST, so I unbolted the head, and intake, and turbo. I replaced the turbo with a big 16g. with a cosmic head gasket, and new lifters. I bolted everything up then still had a ton of ticking, I assume my lifters haven't gotten oil pressure in it yet. But the Car runs absolutely horribly, I cant get going over 20mph and stumbling very bad, and a lot of times dies at idle. My AFR would refuse to run a lot of the time but when it did, it was running very lean. I unplugged my Wideband and plugged my original O2 sensor back in thinking that might help. IT did absolutely nothing. Could this be a result of Vacuum hoses not in the right places? or the new 16g needs tuning?
. Also My 16g never got any oil when it was running due to a small kink in my feed line which I never saw, and now it is completely seized. what's the best way of saving a turbo like this?
