I think the idea behind that collectables site is evil - and brilliant. Buy OEM parts and put them on a shelf with a 200% price tag, and eventually (20 years later) someone will be desperate enough to buy them.

I've been nursing mine along - polished them many many times, and the insides are now fogging.

I’ll be customizing mine soon. I used to do projector retrofits and custom LED tail lights back in the day. Keeping it simple on this car tho

Yeah, 1Gina2G - before Kiggly Racing made a real crank sensor mount for 6-Bolt! (which I just got today coincidently) I’m looking forward to trying it out after body shop work.

Waiting is hard. - I've run out of things to do while its at the bodyshop. Even the software in the onboard computer is up to latest versions. Notably, Race Capture v2 is GM build, waiting on the marketing and support items before Brent pulls the trigger on the official release. Looks like it will be v2.1.24.

If you have a Race Capture device, and you have not been playing along with the beta testing, I think you will be amazed on how many improvements have been packed into v2.

Unobtainable parts - Belt moldings, and Drip moldings: No magic wand here.

That is an Air-Oil cooler, with a pull fan mounted behind. I am not running the stock water/oil cooler sandwich on the filter mount, which is prone to failure.

Pickup - a few items for refurbishment. Swap out the lamps into the new lenses, figure out plastic black trim paint for the cowl, and the wipers and brackets get black powder coating and... something for the drip and belt moldings - Work in progress.

Will you be doing a 2gb conversion on this? It looks like the low rise spoiler holes are filled on the rear quarters.
