Is this a problem? Nick on front case in Front Main Seal Area

Is this nick in the front main seal area of the front case a problem?

I nicked the edge the lip pictured when I was removing the old seal in order to replace it with a new one.

It doesn't appear that this edge contacts anything as far as the crank or the front main seal goes when the engine is reassembled, but I want to be sure it isn't going to cause me any problems down the road. I probably have a replacement 7 Bolt front case I can use instead, but would prefer to use this one if it is OK.

Hello,

Yes, that is the nick I was referring to. As far as I can tell it doesn't contact anything, but I wanted to be certain as I'm trying to eliminate problems instead of make new ones.
