When changing the front seal do you need to drop the oil pan?
What about the front case gasket there is no way to remove that without doing that.
You can put it in without droping the oil pan or removing the front case, its just a bi*** to do so. In my opinion you will come out with fewer busted knuckles and a lot less swearing by just pulling the front case and oil pan.
unfortunately the oil pan was leaking oil also so now the pan is dropped and the stupid car is all wheel drive so now... had to drop the transfer case as well... all for this damn seal and water pump. -_-
