Interior LEDs, not gauge cluster

Do they make them in custom colors. Red would probably hurt my eyes LOL.

red doesnt hurt your eyes it actually is easier on the eyes for long periods at night then blue or white. I dont remember where i learned this but there was a study on the same stuff. The gauges just look better too, its not just the intensity but the color as well. My gauges were a pale orange. Now they are a intense red like a newer car. Definitely makes the vehicle appear newer when riding as a passenger.

Ha, I dont really want them for brightness, I plan on turning them down with the dimmer. I just want them so the gauges glow red instead of that dull orangeish color.

yup and if you want that you can do that! I like to turn them on during the day too. Stock bulbs would show no color or light during the day, with these it lights my gauges red during the day even!

I'd be doing it for the brightness. I hate the dull color. Even the eBay ugly gauges are better looking than orange.

Where can we get led dome lights or install instructions? My lights internally are shot..

has anyone tried tenting their gauge cluster with the LED mod done??? would look good IMO if you couldn’t see the gauges at all unless the lights were on. would look damn good in a car with a blacked out interior.

The neon colors are giving me a headache. LOL

So I pulled all of the lights out of the CC and center bezels and they are totally different form the gauge lights. Anyone got a part number on these from superbrightleds.com? It would look stupid if you have red or blue gauge lights but the rest of the lights in the controls are still orange.

Anyone know how to power the cluster without plugging it back into the car i wanna check all my leds before i put them back in the car(hints the cars not here)
i have 12V+ and ground just need to kno where to put it,

anyone sanded the orange coating down or not?

Maybe a little late but oh well. I sanded it down just over the stuff I wanted to show through. If I remember in the morning I'll take a pic of the blue leds in the cluster but just so you know I also used a blue film under the overlay to make sure it wasn't a light blue. I spent $5 on ebay for the blue film and the bulbs from superbrightleds for like $50 shipped.
