Hey, so I was researching and found that there is no specific thread containing all the correct leds to buy and what people used, just generalization or mixed with 2g stuff.

^That thread is the best info I could find but I'm still lost on which leds I should get.
On the sylvania website it shows 3 different types of bulbs being used on the cluster alone.

So far, I figured out these.

Anyone who did this know which exact ones I need for the gauge cluster and which ones you bought? Also which style? The mini wedge ones? I'm looking to order them off of superbrightleds.com

Thanks

Well count the bulbs you want to replace, go to the parts store or online and figure out the part number then, put the part number into the link and you should have your new lights man..

Go to the Super Bright LEDs Cross Reference page and look for 74 and 158, click on the links and it'll take you to the bulbs. Since Instrument-general lists both 74 and 158 this means that it could be either one depending on the car. Just to be safe, order one of each for that. That's 6 bulbs total, three of each. Comes to about $23.

I cant remember how many bulbs on the back of the cluster since it's been so long since I did this, but if you pm me,I can give you the part numbers I used, and how many. I am actually getting rid of my cluster with the led's if your interested.

I was looking to replace the ones in my gauge cluster because they are starting to get dim. Plus I'd like to do a color change and take off that fugly orange paint.

*edit* Never mind, they were mini-wedge #74, you need 7 for the cluster and 360 degree bulbs are supposed to work better.\

*Yet another edit* I looked a bit more and apparently 100-120 degree ones will also work just fine but you need to scrape off that orange crap.
