So I have my dash and gauge cluster all taken apart to upgrade to LEDs since the OEM bulbs are finally burning out after 26 years and I'm wondering what bulbs go in the HVAC controls.

The 2g bulbs are smaller than the 1g bulbs so that guide does not work. I believe they are NEOx bulbs but I'm not sure what size they would be.

Already tried that and they don't list the HVAC bulbs unfortunately. They list pretty much everything else though.

I used them for my past couple orders and they have been great. They did send me one empty package though, I just sent them an email and they send the new bulb out with no problem at all.

One suggestion I might make though. They suggest using the expensive bulb for better coverage. While it DOES provide better lighting it ends up being brighter than stock which for some people might be preferred but for me I don't really see the point. Instead I used the 120 degree 194 mini-wedge that is only .99 instead of 6.95 each. I don't have any "dead" spots or any hot spots and they are much better priced. Another bonus is I noticed you can put them in either way and they work. I have heard the only ones only work in one direction, I'm not sure if that is true though.

I've purchased a lot of LEDs from them and they have fit and worked as advertised. Well...except for one. I'm using them everywhere on and in the car.

I converted mine back in 2001. I just used a radioshack high luminosity LED and resistor once calculated using the LED absorbed current and voltage drop, and recycled the original bulb receptacle. Just keep in mind that especially for the hvac the blue filters out the red and the other way around so you may want to use white LEDs for that specific section.
