I will do this if some one would tell me the twist in led size that replaces the factory bulb.

I couldn't seem to find a a definite answer to the bulb size and i am not even in the same country as my car otherwise i would pull the cluster to find out for sure, but after looking around my best guess on the Instrument Light Bulb Size is: 74

Bulb size is 74. I went through that hassle and ended up getting size 74 LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com. Fit perfectly. I bought red LEDs for my needles to light up since I already bought blue over lays. The red lights lit the entire cluster very well. If you buy these lights, get the widest beam angle for maximum illumination. If you go with blue LEDs, sand the backs of the gauge faces or it will be very dimly lit. Can't garuntee brighter results with the sanding though since I didn't go through it. Just make sure you put them in the right way as the LEDs are polarized and only work in one dirrection. And they dim with the dimmer switch.

...i sanded on the back side, the cut out a piece to cover each gauge from red transparent folder...looks pretty damn good id say.

Thanks guys! I will be going this route for sure, a little sanding and some direct replacement l.e.d.s ftw :hellyeah:

Im going to do this but with green. TSItuner23 what kind of turbo timer is that?

Wait how do you pull the stock bulbs out of the twist in?? I am afraid ill brake them.

How many bulbs do i need to switch out i was thinking 30 of them but then do i need to replace every single one in the cluster?

You will need 7 bulbs for the gauges themselves, which will also illuminate the odometer. If you want to change the indicator lights in the cluster, you'll need up to 19 depending on your cars specific indicators. I replaced the turn light cluster bulbs with blue as well (just 2 there). I didn't replace the bulb for the high beams because it's a little bigger than the #74's. If you have an auto transmission, I wouldn't know how many are required there since I've never owned an automatic DSM, I imagine 1 per gear though. If you got more questions, just ask.
