What do you mean by "redid my valvels"?
They appear to be installed properly (small=exhaust, large=intake).

If you removed valves to be cleaned, then they have to go back in the same valve guides they came out from. If valves were mixed during reassembly, then there is a good chance valve seat and the valve may not not seal properly which will result in poor engine performance. Bring the head to a machine shop and have them perform a vacuum test on each port.

If you installed new valves, then valve seats must have been cut by a machine shop to match the new valves.

okay, i just needed to know if i had them on right, wasnt sure if it was backwards. but thank you!

Sorry for thread jack, but I am also rebuilding my head and received new std. Stainless Valves. Can I just lap them into my existing seats or do they require machine work to the valves and valve seats before I install them?? The head had 140k miles and the factory valves were fine when removed and seats appear good.

I have had good luck getting new valves to seal without a seat grind. However, you should check your valve guides to see if they are within specs.
