1G Impreza front bumper on 1g

Hey guys,
I've heard a people have swapped a 98Impreza Rs front bumper to the 1ga. I know it takes some modification But I think it looks great and well worth the effort. I was wondering if this makes aftermarket Impreza bumpers an option for us 1g guys. I was looking at the following bumper:

Has anyone tried something like this? How well do you guys think it will work?

I saw a picture about an hour ago but I cant seem to find it again. All the threads Im looking at have dead links. But it does work, if I find the picture again ill post it up for you. I know the stock one works, I just dont know if an aftermarket one will

I've seen this more than once. I think the stock bumper cover looks the best though.

To each his own. I know a lot of people here don't like bodykits But I think if I could make an aftermarket one fit it'd be a nice change. If a stock impreza bumper cover fits it wouldn't be crazy to try out an aftermarket one

I saw this a couple years ago. I really like the way that impreza bumper fits on the 1ga front end. That looks super nice!! What kind of modification was necessary for this to become feasible?

Im not exactly sure. Theres a few threads on it but all the pictures are dead. Judging from the text it doesnt seem too hard.
