calgary,
We did the swap years ago and it ran like shit so I only drove once a blue moon, but anyways I want to fix the issues so I can enjoy this car daily. It's been parked forever so I forgot about it. I think the idleing problem is from the 2g intake on the 1g. Well I want to put on the 1g intake and that's why I'm coming to you guys for help. I posted pictures of my installed intake and 1g intake. We don't have emissions tests here in Canada so I want to skip those areas. Please tell me what I need to do to make my 1g work proper. What wires do I need and don't need pls!! And thank you. Help!!!

Before even messing with the intake, you need to replace that TPS with the broken screw hole. When the engine is running and that thing is constantly rattling I would think that would cause a lot of issues.

Also, not sure if you took these photos during the work you were doing or something, but I see A LOT of missing screws, bolts, loose hoses and clamps, and what not. Make sure all of that stuff is in order and track down all hoses and make sure that they are actually going somewhere.

It also wouldn't be a bad idea to do a boost leak/vacuum test to make sure you didn't have any large leaks that would cause issues.

Good luck.

You may or may not know this, but you have to use a 1G head with a 1G intake and a 2G head with a 2G intake. Both intakes will bolt up to both heads, but when you mismatch them, there are gaps on the runners. I know for a fact there are gaps using a 2G intake on a 1G head because I put a 2G intake onto a 1G head to see first hand where the gaps were.

Can I use the tps from the 1g TB?

I want to put the 1g intake on. What can I can I chuck? From the 2g? I don't want egr
