2G NEED HELP WITH 6bolt into 2G swap!

okay i recently completeled my 6bolt into my 95 tsi awd.

now, i did the wiring method with the injector rewire and the spark plug rewire, along with the obvious CAS rewire for the ecu to get both signals.


now when i get on the highway and just cruise the check engine light comes on and she feels like shes running on 2 cylinders... i did some searching found very little help... i found out this is a common problem with 6bolts in 2g's but how do we fix it????? i went wire by wire when i did the install so i know all the wiring is good.


please help me i want to go to the track but i can't get there!!!! and its just driving me nuts!

People have the best luck with the 93-94 'black top' CAS. I have that on my 6-bolt and don't get any misfire codes.

Other than DSMLink, search for the 10k potenetiometer mod...some people can get that to work ok.

thanks for the pot mod idea, i researched it, but i think i'm just gonna save up and get a DSMlink and be done with it. thanks
