Resolved Identify this 6 bolt

Could anyone give me an idea about where this 6 bolt in my 2G FWD came from? Trying to make sure i am buying the correct parts for her. About all i know are that 6 bolts came out of 89-92 dsms and that mine has an N/T throttle body. Turbo is a 14b i assume which is the stock 6 bolt manual tranny turbo. It says TDO5H.

It's a 6 bolt head can tell with the cam distribuer and thermostat house sorry for spelling same as mine 91gsx

I have two Hyundai 1.6L heads, and they've both got the big 1G style intake ports. I like the extra compression.

Yea I don't plan on going too much over stock boost. Im shooting a fun 2nd car, not so much a racecar. :thumbup:

Its not a drastic change in compression. The 1g compression is lower then the 2g so if anything the 6bolt with the smaller cc hyundai head will put the compression closer to the stock 2g compression. The stock 2g ECU is already set for the higher compression that the 2g pistons have so he will be just fine.

All 2g ECUs have the same maps. But at least you would know what exactly is in there.
