Help Identify a 6 bolt

im looking to buy another 95 or 96 talon and would like to know if there is a way to identify a 6 bolt block by looking at the outside of the motor rather than trusting the guy selling the car and later finding out its a stock motor.. is there a way to tell if its a 6 bolt by looking on the outside for anything specific?

check the oilpan, look on the back side of the pan, by back side i mean the side that is closest to the rear of the car when installed, if that part is smooth its a six bolt, if it dips in a bit then it is a seven
