Okay so im kind of stuck in a weird spot. I have a choice between a stock 7 bolt that has 130k on it and has never seen anything but stock boost from a t-25, or i can have a 91 6 bolt with 100k on it which also never saw mods. the 7 bolt is already in ,and the car is stock. Has a compression of 160 straight across. The 6 bolt compression is unknown but i am told ran flawlessly.
I was told that a cold compression test will read lower numbers than a hot one, like 20 below what it would be if it were hot. Since the 6 bolt isnt attached to a car is there any way to get an accurate reading? Or should i just not bother?
I plan on eventually having a 16g with some good bolt ons, so i know the 7 bolt is getting a lot of miles on it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
