So i just replaced my IAC about 2 1/2 - 3 weeks ago, and now im already throwing a code for the new one. Any ideas on what could be causing it to keep throwing codes? WTF

Perhaps the wiring it self? Corrosion on the connector? Why don't you pull it back off and do the test on the terminals to see if all the coils are good?. Then if you want test the wires going from the wiring harness to the IAC itself.

Pull the ECU and make sure you didn't damage the ISC drivers.

Also, did you test the 2nd ISC (and actually the first one at that) to see if they are bad?

As far as i know, the 98/99 ECU's are different than the 95 - 97 right? Are there going to be any differences in placing/parts/part numbers for the driver chips?

I've chcked all wiring and everything turned out good. No corrosion or anything.

Internally, the 98/99 ECUs are completely different in every way, including the ISC driver circuitry. Those separate driver chips you see on previous year ECUs are not present at all on the 98/99 ECU.

Ok. So is there anything i should look for inside the ECU or should i just not even bother?
