I clearly understand that there are many threads similar to this but not exactly of what I am looking for.

I had done something really stupid a couple months ago. I lowered my car using spring clamps. Yes probably the dumbest thing I have ever done. I don't even know why I did it either.

But anyways, I can remove the kit so I am planning to get the TOKICO HP SHOCKS SPRINGTECH SPRINGS Set. I have heard some pretty good things about this set-up so I decided to give it a try. I was told that I need a camber kit in the rear. Do I need the camber kit in the front as well? The kit lowers it 1.75." If I should get it in case please tell me because from now on I am doing everything I do to my car THE RIGHT WAY.

Other than that what else should I know about this lowering idea? I really do not want to expect any problems in the future with this set-up.

Please give me any advice! Thanks!

I really want to get the Tokico kit. I mean I know it is all compatibale and i'm pretty sure it comes with a life-time warranty. I would only then have to get the rear camber kit ONLY even with the 1.75" drop. Right? Do you have any suggestions on the best way to do the camber adjustmen?

And as far as budget, no more than 500.

Then go no further. Get the Tokico Illumina Kit. Or get the Illuminas separately and use the H&R race springs, OE sport springs or the Proshits, if you must.

It really doesn't matter at the sub $500 level - it's all crap. So just decide if you want to be low, moderate or just an "inch off the top".
The Illumina KIT will be low and soft.
The H&R Race springs will be low and stiff.
The H&R OE prings lower only 1" with reasonable rates, as far as we know.
The Prokits are not really any better for the money than the springs included in the Illumina kit. They are, however, not as low.

Pick one and go for it.

I sure do. Right here and here.
This thread is exactly like many others. You're question is if you need a camber kit for the front. The answer is no.

Deal with what you get up front, which will likely be something like -1.5 to -1.7 degrees and then use a camber kit to setup your rear to roughly half of the negative camber you have in the front.
i.e. If you have -1.5 degrees of camber up front then you would want to aim for -0.7 in the rear.

For you? Yes, buy the ingalls kit. That link has the incorrect photo but the part number matches. Shop around and purchase one of the 2 ingalls kits available for the rear. One has more adjustment than the other (i.e. comes with spacers). I got both sides for $70 shipped and I have the large adjustment ones.

At your level you ought not invite the headache and just go with the ingalls setup and not fret over a DIY setup.

35860 - Adjustable Rear Control Arm Mounting Kit - Ingalls Engineering Co., Inc.

I'd get the 35860 x2. Just not from them LOL

As far as rear camber, I have been told by many people on here to get
STM: REAR CAMBER KIT 2G DSM (95-99)

And others on here as well said good things about these
STM - TOKICO HPK SPRING AND SHOCK KIT | HPK231 | HPK239 | 95-99 DSM

Would this really be that bad of a route to go?

I don't want to insult you, but as I already mentioned, that type of DIY kit is currently beyond your experience and migraine tolerance.

I'm all for it, I've been running a DIY kit for years, but it's as problematic as it is simple.
a) you must ballpark your initial rear camber settings and then go get it aligned
b) you didn't strike gold on your first try so now what? You swap in or out some washers and go back for yet another alignment..
c) now the values aren't equal, left to right. repeat step b)

See the problem? That's why, for you, I suggested to just spend $70 on a real, adjustable by a shop, alignment kit.

I can't imagine a user paying much compliment, let alone calling the HP setup "good". The only way you could get a lesser setup would be to combine KYB GR-2's with Eiback Sportlines.
Now, that being said, you're still only working with a budget of $500. No matter what you get it will surely be crap.

If you just want to get down low - get the HP kit. If you care about improving handling abondon this project and keep saving.

well I dont have a camber kit on my car and mine is dropped 2 inches; I got a couple of friends who have they're hondas dropped hella flush style and I mean like 2 or 3 inches off the ground without a camber kit and you cant even tell it has camber. well it just depends if you want it just for looks or for legit track racing and if you want it for racing purposes then go for it so you can have more rubber making contact with the ground but honestly my car didnt really need one LOL and I dont plan on buying one because you cant even tell it has camber. I get people all the time ask me if I had to get a bad ass camber kit and everytime I respond to them I laugh and say nope. most people that try to tell you to get one have nver dropped they're car or been around alot of people with dropped rides but i know for sure you really dont need one if you stay under 2 inches but if you go over more im pretty sure you'll need one. Oh and for the people that dont believe me I've been driving my car for 6 months now and my tires are evenly worn out, and for the people that are gonna try to make fun of me for not getting one and being stupid I actually bought one at first from ebay and it didnt fit on my car so I decided to just run without one because at the time I didnt have money to buy another camber kit.:)
