Electrical Issues please help!

Alright, I have a 1995 Gsx some mods nothing crazy, no dsmlink and Im not sure if its been done to it (havent checked the ECU)....
but anyways, my tailights, power seat, windows DO NOT work
The ALternator has been checked at 10 different places they all say this it is perfectly fine (bench tested and on car) and it puts out more amps than all OEM ones...
anyways my Brake light, low coolant and battery light is on, there hasnt been a radio in the car since I got it 3 months ago but I still cant find out the problem!
please help :/ *ive also replaced the battery when i first got the car (not a junk wallmart Battery)

I had this problem in a car like this at the shop. What it was, it was a bad ground. Check all your grounds and everything. Like what it did was freak out and put a bunch of lights on and just trip out on the dash. So that's my two cents. But that was a Mustang. Im pretty sure some of the guys will tell you some stuff.

It was a ground from the engine to the chassis. But also another thing bro. Check all of your fuses.

Alrgiht thanks, but ive checked all of them im just going to replace all of my fuses. Just incase one is blown but not broken, and check all of my ground this week.

Did you fix the problem because my 95 gst is doing the same thing. I noticed that when I driving at low RPMs that the lights went off but then when I starting going over 3000 the lights came back on. Please help I'm scared and dont want to be stuck on the side of the road it's too hot 104 outside

I Also don't feel any performance loss either it seems to be driving normally just lots of lights lit up

No I still have not yet found this, It is the most irritationg problem I have ever encountered on anything. It has made me Pretty sure that Im going to trade it for a Wrangler. I have added some ground straps and got nothing, still have 1 to do. If I dont sell/trade it within a month or 2 Im sending it somewhere. I still think its the alternator but its been tested to be working completely fine.

All you have to do is follow the negative from your battery and follow every lead that it has. not hard. Not worth giving up on it. Also check the belt and the tensioner maybe its loose or too tight. my 2 cents .

I have no power windows,seat, brake lights, windsheild wipers, and low coolant, brake light and another light is on but I forget which one, oh its the battery one. Its just rediculous and Im terrible with electrical stuff.

Its not hard just follow a cable and see if its broken or anything else like that....its not possible to own a dsm and not get dirty once in a while man

I just got done redbuilding the entire front end, Im just tired of it right now, I need help not bashed man, Ive tryed finding it but Im not too fond of electrical so Im not 100% on what and or where to look for.

you may need to get a higher density battery. I had to since my power options wouldn't work with the basic 35S battery that's stock in the cars. maybe getting a 37S or a 41SR will do the trick. if not, check all your wiring and groundings. you may come across something loose or not fitted

are where did you come up with those stuff man !!! are you kidding me. You post everywhere just the become proven member fast that just ridicules...


Check under the dash , you say theres no radio , so it will be easy . Theres a few connectors, with bunch of wires on them that connect, the engine harness to the dash harness. There's 2 plugs that can be swapped by accident, I had that problem before I remove the harness and when i was putting it back, i didnt pay attention to the connectors. Because i thought they are all different, and you can't accidently swap the places check that first and let us know what happend ...

I have a good battery in my car, 1 down from the colortops from autozone....
But i will definitely try this after I eat dinner! is there anyway you could help out with a picture?

or like a drawing or a better explanation of where it is?

im having the same problem it just started. But my headlights want to stay on and i have now power windows are locks are radio

Check your fusible links in the big fuse box under the hood. They look like big fuses.

Well I checked all of those, I think its in the fuse box under my dash. My buddys dad did some looking around and said a whole row of fuses werent getting power?

i found my test light and all my fuses are a go. But i still have no power windows, and my doors no lock and my power seat dont move

Not sure, I dont anything but I do have power locks, but not with the remote.

yes mine still working! But tonight i tried replacing my alternator choke fuse, and my car is compeltely dead, but when i take that fuse out the dash lights come on, but car wont start unless jumped!..........Any suggestions

Put the old one back in , Im terrible at electrical stuff, (explains this thread)m but see if you maybe grounded yourself when changing the fuse, you could have shorted something else out. Make sure you pull your negative battery cable whenever you change that stuff
